I always panic when another photographer contacts me to do family photos (pressure!) but this was honestly the nicest family who had traveled from Hawaii…so much love and laughter together. Easy peasy. It didn't hurt that it was such a perfectly, beautiful fall evening. XO

I am happiest barefoot in the sunshine at my cabin in Vancouver, BC, with a really good beer in one hand and my scruffy husband in the other, surrounded by my 3 crazy kids and OCD dog. I am inspired by love and laughter and real life moments and truly believe that when you stop and look around, this life is pretty amazing.
