This post is very out of order, but I was editing the photos last night and I’m in love with the simplicity of this session, with the early morning light, with this family and their genuine connections, and the location too (which I’m very familiar with since I take my own dog there). Leah…I am so glad you phoned me on the off chance I could squeeze you guys in. Admittedly, I am not a morning person, but I’m so glad I got my arse out of bed to meet up with you guys. And I loved meeting your boys. Sam was a bit beat up from two recent falls, but he is such a treasure. Congratulations on the recent addition to your family. You guys are such lovely, genuine, amazing parents. XO

I tell parents that they are not allowed to yell at their kids during a session , but they can give out bribes. Sam got some Reese’s pieces for staying still for a moment.
