Our first day of summer holidays. We packed the car this morning and moved up to our cabin for the summer…in the rain.
What we did, in list form:
- made the ferry, just in time
- lugged 3 carts full of “stuff” to our cabin
- unpacked
- yelled at kids for fighting and/or teasing
- lit a fire (Sam)
- roasted marshmallows
- made a fort in the bunk room and played boat
- played chess (Sam won)
- played UNO
- skipped rocks
- listened to Adele and Beiber and wrote our our summer bucket list
- drew pictures on body parts (Will and Clara)
- read some books
- watched a movie in bed (Sam and Clara and mommy)
Hopefully the rain will stop before our 31 guests arrive tomorrow for the Canada Day weekend.
