Hi, I'm Bee (short for Rebecca); mom to three small children and ball-tosser for an obsessive-compulsive dog. I married my summer camp crush and believe in happily ever after stories.

I love summer, bare feet, Belgian beer and french fries.

I play a mean game of Candyland, but have yet to beat my 5 year old in Spiderman Memory.

I can build a 4 foot high lego tower and am renowned for my blanket, table-and-chair fort contruction.

Some other things that make me happy? Hot baths, pretty paper products, the smell of suntan lotion on my kids and eating outdoors with friends...sipping champagne, laughing hard and canoodling with my husband.

I find inspiration in everyday life; magic in reality.

In my world, laughter and connection are sources of beauty. So I take pictures of them.

pannekoek and aquarium

OK, so I have no pictures of the pannekoek (it was really tasty), but I have a few from our trip to the Aquarium. It was a perfect way to spend our Friday. Sometimes we like to skip school so we can go to places like the Aquarium and avoid the weekend crowds. And I swear I didn’t make my kids line up and press their hands up on the glass. These are all “unposed” with the exception of the first one…and the twelfth one. XO
